Special I/O
Innopower provides variety special I/O for different application such as DDR, PCI-X, etc.
LV-PECL
For high-speed chip-to-chip communications with specified DC drive characteristics, these differential receivers and drivers provide data transfer rates of up to 300Mbps. Single-ended buffers are provided to lower the power consumption. To improve the noise performance (Due to common-mode noise rejection), these cells provide differential buffers. The staggered and inline structures are provided for all PECL I/O cells to fit the pad-limited or core-limited designs.
Crystal Oscillator I/O
All I/O cells are designed as the programmable crystal oscillator I/O cells. For the pad-limited designs, Faraday provides the staggered structure for all I/O cells. For the core-limited designs, Faraday provides the inline structure for all I/O cells. Each function or specification is proven through rigorous testing. The supported range is between 32KHz and 66MHz.
DDR I/O
Support 400 ~ 800Mbps DDR2 I/Os, 200 ~ 400Mbps DDR I/Os, and MDDR I/Os of up to 166MHz. Theese designs meet the JESD8-9B (For SSTL-2), JESD8 -15a , and JESD8-17 (For SSTL-18) specifications.
PCI-X I/O
These I/O cells are designed based on “PCI-X Addendum to the PCI Local Bus Specification, Revision 1.0b” to meet the requirements of the PCI-X applications. The PCI-X specification is used to establish a high performance local bus standard for the products of several generations.
Analog ESD I/O
Most analog blocks use isolated power and ground to avoid the power noises coupled from the digital circuits. However, the design of isolated power and ground will also induce excessive ESD. The analog ESD I/O set is specifically designed to provide solution to this problem.
