PWM
The switching regulators (PWM) with high current-driving capability are used to regulate the higher output voltages. The switching regulators are designed for DC-to-DC boost converters, buck converter, or boost converter with sets of control circuits, including a negative power. An external inductor, power PMOS/NMOS, Schottky barrier diode, PNP/NPN bipolar transistors, and capacitors are required in actual applications. These switching regulators require an internal bandgap reference with trimming design to obtain accurate output voltage by compensating the process variations.
