and Digital-to-Analog solutions provide customers with cost-effective and silicon proven converters.
Innopower has developed a comprehensive family of ADC and DAC IPs, including ADC series of
SAR, cyclic, pipelined and sigma delta; DAC series of current steering, resistor ladder
R-2R, and sigma delta. Different series of ADC/DAC solutions target at all types of market applications.
Audio Codec for Audio/Voice Application
Being widely used in millions of audio devices, Innopower's 10-/11-bit 800KHz voice codec, 16-/18-/20-/24-bit 96 KHz and 16-/18-/20-/24-bit 192 KHz audio codec are mass production proven in various processes. All these IPs are designed to optimize performance with extremely low operational power for hand-held applications. For example, 15 mW is consumed for the 18-bit Codec with dynamic range of 90 dB SNR@48 KHz. Moreover, the complete 24-bit 192KHz Hi-Fi stereo audio codec features multiple analog IOs for complete coverage of all analog audio interfaces, while significantly reducing the external components to save overall BOM cost.
ADC and DAC for The Image and Video Applications
The multi-channel (One-to-three) multi-bit high/low-speed ADC and DAC are designed to target at applications such as portable media players, touch panel, DVD, VCR, video, DSC, set-top boxes, game boxes, and other image front-end applications. Innopower’s ADC and DAC IPs are equipped with the most competitive features and are designed for high resolution and low power solution. Our IPs are also manufacture-ready for easy IP SoC integration.
ADC and DAC for The Communication Applications
Based on years of market-driven developments and leading edge know-how of wireless applications,
Innopower unveils a series of comprehensive and multi-standard WLAN/UWB ADDA portfolio, covering two
main signal paths, I&Q ADC, I&Q DAC, auxiliary converters and a flexible clock generation unit.
Each converter has an individual power-down mode featuring 12μA of standby current.
A very low power 12-bit 80 MHz ADC/DAC is available for applications such as ultra wireless LAN 802.11n
communication systems. The built-in test features can be used to reduce the unit cost by simplifying
the process of production tests. The 6-bit 1GHz ADC/DAC are suitable for applications requiring
low resolution and high-speed conversion rates, such as mass-storage read channels, ultra wide-band (UWB)
communication systems, and blue-ray DVD AFE. For UWB, an I&Q configuration is provided.
